Microsoft Outlook Add-In

Setup Instructions

Step 1

Visit Microsoft 365 and sign in with your account.

Click on the Outlook icon located in the left-hand side toolbar to open Microsoft Outlook.

Note: You can also install Linguisity for Microsoft Outlook Add-in via Microsoft App Source.

Within Microsoft Outlook, in the left-hand sidebar, select the icon for More apps.

Step 3

Click on the 'Add Apps' button located at the lower right-hand corner of the new pop-up window.

Step 4

Once the search page for apps is displayed, perform a search for Linguisity and subsequently select its corresponding tile.

Step 5

A new dialog box will appear. Click the 'Add' button to install Linguisity for Microsoft Outlook.

Step 6

After the Add-in has completed the installation process, click the 'Got it' button.

Step 7

When composing a new email message or replying to someone, open the message tab in the ribbon bar.

After clicking the Apps button in the Message bar, the Linguisity Add-in for Microsoft Outlook should be available as an app that you can use.

Step 8

You will now be presented with a login window for Linguisity.

Please enter your email address or username along with your password to proceed with the login process. Alternatively, you can create a new account if necessary.

Once you are ready, click on the 'SIGN IN' button.

Step 9

Now that you have successfully logged in, you can start entering the text you want to improve or copy and paste sections from the document for enhancement.

The 'Get Selection' button can be used to retrieve the currently highlighted text from the email subject or body area.

Select a target language and tone, and then click the 'Enhance Text' button.

Step 10

Linguisity will now enhance the text and display the enhancements in the Results section.

You can either click Apply to implement the corrections or copy and paste the result into the email where you would like it to appear.

The Details section provides an overview of the changes made from the original text to the enhanced version. This can assist you in gaining a better understanding of the modifications that have been applied.
