Microsoft Office Add-In
Setup Instructions
Step 1
Visit Microsoft 365 and sign in with your account.
Click on the Word icon located on the left-hand side toolbar to open Microsoft Word.
Note: You can also install Linguisity for Microsoft Office Add-in via Microsoft App Source.
Step 2
Choose between opening an existing document or creating a new one.
Step 3
Access the File menu and select the Get Add-ins option.
Step 4
Click on the 'More Add-ins' button located at the bottom right-hand side of the menu.
Step 5
Please ensure that the Store tab is selected in the new popup window.
Search for 'Linguisity' and click the 'Add' button to install the Linguisity for Microsoft Office Add-in.
Step 6
A new pop-up will appear, prompting you to agree to the Linguisity terms of service and privacy policy.
Click 'Continue' when you are ready.
Step 7
Once installed, go to the Home ribbon bar and click on the three dots located on the far right to access a menu.
In this menu, you will find a section called 'Linguisity' with an button to open it. Click on 'Open' to proceed
Step 8
You will now be presented with a login window for Linguisity.
Please enter your email address or username along with your password to proceed with the login process. Alternatively, you can create a new account if necessary.
Once you are ready, click on the 'SIGN IN' button.
Step 9
Now that you have successfully logged in, you can begin entering the text you wish to improve or copy and paste sections from the document for enhancement.
Choose a target language and tone, and then click the Enhance Text button.
Step 10
Linguisity will now enhance the text and display the enhancements in the Results section.
You can either click Apply to implement the corrections or copy and paste the result into the Word document where you would like it to appear.
The Details section provides an overview of the changes made from the original text to the enhanced version. This can assist you in gaining a better understanding of the modifications that have been applied.
